Connect your first store
WooCommerce in under 15 minutes. Other platforms coming soon.
Connecting a store lets you sync your current catalog with Noobit and publish the changes you make. The sync goes both ways: what you have in WooCommerce shows up in Noobit; what you publish from Noobit goes to WooCommerce, and you see a diff first.
WooCommerce — prerequisites
- WooCommerce 6 or later on WordPress 6 or later
- Admin access to WordPress
- Permalinks enabled (the REST API needs them)
- HTTPS enabled (a must: Noobit connects to your store over HTTPS)
Step 1: create a REST key in WordPress
In some versions it's called "API keys". Click "Add key".
Description: "Noobit" (or whatever you like). User: your admin user. Permissions: Read/Write.
WordPress shows the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret. Copy them now — you won't see them again.
Step 2: create the connection in Noobit
Choose WooCommerce and give the connection a name, e.g. "My store".
Including https://. For example: https://mystore.com.
The ones you copied in step 1.
«Guardar conexión» (Save connection) creates it. Then, on its card, click «Probar»: if it responds, you'll see your store's name and the connection becomes active.
Optional: brands from a plugin, and photos
If your brands come from a plugin (Kadence, Perfect WooCommerce Brands, YITH…) or you're going to publish photos from Noobit, add a WordPress application password before you bring in your catalog. On the connection's card, open «Sync Dashboard → Configuración» (Sync Dashboard → Settings) and fill in «Usuario WordPress» (WordPress user) and «Application Password». You create it in WordPress, under Users → Profile → Application Passwords. Without it, brands from those plugins don't come in.
Step 3: bring in your catalog
On the connection's card, click «Sync Dashboard». In the «Resumen» (Overview) tab:
The first sync can take anywhere from seconds to minutes, depending on the size of your catalog. It runs in the background: you can keep working and follow its progress in the «Sync Dashboard» or in «Pipeline → Cola de tareas» (Pipeline → Task queue).
Step 4: turn on webhooks (optional but recommended)
Webhooks let WooCommerce tell Noobit right away when something changes (stock, price, an employee editing something in WP). In «Sync Dashboard → Webhooks», click «Activar webhooks» (Turn on webhooks): Noobit sets them up in your store for you.
Check that everything works
- In your WooCommerce store, edit any product (change its price, for example).
- Wait a few seconds.
- In Noobit, open that same product's record. You should see the change there.
- If it doesn't show up, check in «Configuración → Conexiones» that the card says «Webhooks activos» (Webhooks active), or that «Sync Dashboard → Webhooks» says «Activos» (Active).
