Roles and permissions

Who can do what in your Noobit account.

3 min read

Noobit uses roles with fixed permissions. There are four, each with its own set of permissions. Each person on the team has one role, and each user belongs to a single account.

The four roles

OWNER
Full control: team, connections, settings and billing details. This is the account holder, and there's only one.
MANAGER
Everything except managing the team and deleting products: products, publishing, connections, rules, brand voice, outputs and settings.
EDITOR
Works with products, imports, the pipeline and approvals: writes, but doesn't publish. Doesn't touch connections, rules, brand voice, outputs or the team.
VIEWER
Read-only access to the catalog and its history. Useful for external audits or finance.

Changing someone's role

The owner does it from «Configuración» → «Equipo» (Settings → Team) by choosing the member's new role. The change is immediate: whatever was already running carries on, and from then on the new role's permissions apply.

Changing the owner
There's only one owner per account, and their role can't be changed from the app. If you need to hand the account over to someone else, email us at [email protected] and we'll do it for you.
