Getting started

Publish your first product

From a ready product to your store, seeing what changes first, with a way to roll back.

4 min read

Publishing means sending the product record from Noobit to your connected store (today, WooCommerce). It's the last step of the pipeline and the only one that changes what your customers see in your store. That's why it includes a preview, validation and rollback. To get a CSV out, use «Configuración → Salidas» (Settings → Outputs).

Validation before publishing

Before publishing, Noobit validates the product automatically:

  • It has a name, and it isn't empty
  • It has an EAN or a SKU
  • If it's variable, it has variations and variation attributes
  • If it's variable, it has a main image on the parent
  • There's a connected store

Errors block publishing. Warnings let it go ahead, but they tell you first. You see everything before you confirm.

Categories

Noobit publishes each category as its exact equivalent in your store. If it can't find one, it publishes the product without that category and flags it for review in «Catálogo → Categorías» (Catalog → Categories); the menu tells you how many are pending. There, you confirm it with one click or create it in your store.

What changes, field by field

If the product already existed in your store, Noobit shows you what changes before publishing, by group: content, SEO, taxonomy, images, and price and SKU. Each group says how many changes it has and, field by field, you see what's in Noobit next to what's in the store.

Selective publishing
You can choose which groups to publish: only prices during a campaign, only content after regenerating with AI, only images after reprocessing. The rest stays untouched.

Publish a product

01
Open the product record

From the product list, click its row.

02
Check its health

At the top you'll see the product's «Salud» (Health). If it says «no publicable» (not publishable), it's missing something required (name, EAN or SKU, main image…) and the publish button stays disabled.

03
Click «Publicar en WooCommerce» (Publish to WooCommerce)

It's in the product's action bar; if the product is already in the store, it says «Actualizar en WooCommerce» (Update in WooCommerce). With multi-store (we enable it on request), you choose the store; by default, the main one.

04
Review and confirm

First you see the validation. If the product is already in the store, «Ver cambios» (See changes) shows you what changes and you choose which groups to publish; if it's new, click «Confirmar publicación» (Confirm publishing).

05
Follow the status

Noobit publishes it in the background. The status changes to «Publicando» (Publishing) and then to «Publicado» (Published), with the time.

Bulk publishing

From the product list, select the approved products and click «Publicar» (Publish). Noobit asks you to confirm, queues them and publishes them one after another, with a progress panel that lets you:

  • See the status of each one
  • Retry only the ones that failed
  • Cancel the ones that haven't started yet
  • Keep working while they publish

Go back to a previous version

If you published something with a mistake, go back to the previous version: in the product record, open «Historial → Versiones» (History → Versions), click «Restaurar» (Restore) on the one you want, and then «Actualizar en WooCommerce». The history stays: nothing is lost.

Rolling back vs. canceling
Rolling back means restoring a previous version and publishing it again. Canceling means stopping a publication that hasn't started yet. They're different operations.

Next steps

Your first product is published. You can repeat the flow with 10, 100 or 1,000 more. If you want your team to help, continue with "Invite your team".
